Designed from the ground up by Oscar Chalupsky, Greg Barton, and computer whiz John Dixon, the Epic V10 is incredibly fast and agile while maintaining comfortable stability. While we met our goal of designing a boat that is faster than the competition on flat water, the Epic V10 really shines in downwind and upwind heavy sea conditions. A fully adjustable footbrace combines with a high-capacity venturi drain to keep water out. The single footwell and front deck cutaway allow for a closer, more powerful stroke. The adjustable footbrace with self-adjusting pedals will accommodate paddlers from 5'3" to 6'7" in height.

Selling a Knysna McGregror Rhythm full carbon (23 pounds) with a few add ons. The ski has a dry-bag compartment just forward of the cockpit that is great for storing a cell phone and keys. Additionally, the ski has a kick-up rudder included that makes this boat act like a K1 in flat-water conditions ideal for challenging rivers and shallow conditions! Although the ski is classified as a intermediate ski having a beam of 17.7", it acts more like an elite ski because of the smaller nose volume. Boat located in Melbourne Beach, FL. The V12 is designed to be the ultimate downwind machine for advanced to elite level paddlers. The updated design has more rocker, a reconfigured cockpit for a drier ride and a more responsive rudder position, all with more stability than the V14.
After testing several prototypes in locations around the world, we feel this is the best surfski for elite, open-water paddling, especially in big downwind. The V12 is faster than the V10 on flatwater and is a good choice for those looking to move up. Highly skilled elite level paddlers with perfect stability skills will find the V14 slightly faster on flat water. But as soon as the wind and waves pick up the new V12 will be their weapon of choice. Mere mortals who want a really fast boat on flat water that can also handle rough stuff will find a good fit in the V12.
It is noticeably more stable than the V14, but less stable than the Epic V10.
I have an epic V7 for sale in Baltimore MD. It's only been used a few times (I bought two v7s and have used one of them much more than the other.) Open to meeting at a midway point if you live within a days drive of Baltimore, especially if it gives me a chance to paddle a new location! Contact Tom at email@example.com.
